This Privacy Policy explains how Remotemage SRL (“Remotemage”, “we”, “us”), a company registered in Romania with its registered office in Cluj-Napoca, 400593, Romania, collects and processes personal data when you visit remotemage.com or contact us through our forms. We act as the data controller for the processing described below and we process personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
What data we collect
Information you provide. When you submit one of our forms (for example the free systems & automation review request), we collect the details you enter: your name, company name, website, team size, the tools and systems you use, a description of your processes or challenges, your email address and, optionally, your phone number. If you contact us by email or book a call, we also process the content of that communication.
Information collected automatically. When you browse the site, we and our service providers collect technical data such as IP address, browser and device information, pages visited and interactions, through cookies and similar technologies described below.
Why we process your data and on what legal basis
- To respond to your enquiry and prepare an offer (e.g. the free review call) — necessary to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- To provide and manage our services if we work together — performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- To measure and improve our website and marketing — our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used and in reaching relevant audiences (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and, where required, your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
- To comply with legal obligations, such as accounting and tax rules (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
Cookies, analytics and advertising tools
We use the following third-party tools on this website:
- Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager (Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC) — website usage statistics and tag management.
- Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. / Meta Platforms, Inc.) — measurement of page views and form submissions (lead events) and building of advertising audiences for our campaigns.
- Klaviyo (Klaviyo, Inc.) — email-related functionality.
- Google reCAPTCHA (Google) — protection of our forms against spam and abuse.
When you book a call, scheduling is handled by Calendly (Calendly LLC) on its own platform, under Calendly’s privacy policy.
Who we share data with
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers (processors) who help us run this website and our business — the analytics, advertising, scheduling and email tools listed above, plus our website hosting and email delivery providers — under data processing agreements, and with authorities where the law requires it.
International transfers
Some of our providers (including Google, Meta, Klaviyo and Calendly) process data in the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we rely on safeguards such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and/or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep data
Enquiry data is kept for as long as needed to handle your request and, absent a client relationship, generally no longer than 24 months after our last contact. If we work together, contract and invoicing data is kept for the periods required by Romanian law. Analytics and advertising data is retained according to the settings of the respective tools.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify or erase your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw any consent at any time (without affecting processing before withdrawal). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in Romania, the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP, dataprotection.ro).
Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls and reputable hosting and service providers.
Children
Our website and services are directed at businesses and are not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
